Southland are please to offer 2 robust thicknesses for Dam Lining - 1.00mm as standard and 0.75mm for the budget conscious.  Larger lined areas can increase the risk of handling damage or  associated punctures.  Therefore, thicker liners are normally employed for these applications.

EPDM rubber is the perfect dam lining material. This material will create a healthy home and breeding ground for live fish and aquatic plants. The material will not break down under direct sunlight as it is naturally stabilised against UV (unlike plastics such as PVC). Also, unlike plastics, the material can endure high temperatures up to 80 degrees Celcius without risk. (Note that temperatures this extreme would not be safe for fish!). Don't choose a cheep alternative and end up redoing all your hard work in a few years.
