1mm Thick EPDM (various sizes)
Our premium EPDM is sourced direct from the manufacturers in Sweden (SealEco 'Elastoseal'). We only stock this brand of EPDM in 1mm thick*** but, as fabricators, we are very flexibile in the sizes we can offer.
SealEco is part of the Nordic Waterproofing Group with more than 1,000 employees and more than 50 years of experience / product knowledge. They have an extensive portfolio of projects with EPDM products successfully installed in extreme climates worldwide. Even decades later, the quality of the EPDM remains consistent. Southland has retained a strong association with SealEco and been fabricating with their EPDM for well over three decades and counting!
EPDM rubber is the perfect pond lining material. Aquatic experts, Landscape architects and horticulturists agree that EPDM is the 'gold-class' option for pond membranes. This material will create a healthy home and breeding ground for your live fish and aquatic plants. The material will not break down under direct sunlight (unlike plastics such as PVC). Also, unlike plastics, the material can endure high temperatures up to 80 degrees Celcius without risk. (Note that temperatures this extreme would not be safe for fish!). Don't choose a cheep alternative and end up redoing all your hard work in a few years.
